Agreement

By using moderncataractsurgery.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may update these terms; the date above reflects the current version.

What this site is

Modern Cataract Surgery is an independent directory of cataract surgeons. Listings are compiled from publicly available information and from practices themselves. We are not a medical practice, do not provide medical care or referrals, and are not affiliated with the practices listed unless a listing is expressly marked as featured advertising. See our Medical Disclaimer for the health-information terms that also apply.

Listings and accuracy

We work to keep listings accurate — including practice affiliations, credentials, and synced review data — but we do not guarantee that any listing is complete, current, or error-free. Surgeons and practices can request a correction or removal of their listing at moderncataractsurgery@gmail.com.

Featured placement

Practices become featured by contacting us and providing additional information about their practice. Featured placement is currently not sold: no fee is charged and no payment is exchanged for position. Featured listings are labeled wherever the enhanced placement appears, and featured status affects position and presentation only — reviews and ratings are never edited, reordered, weighted, or suppressed for any practice, featured or not. If a paid program is introduced in the future, these terms and the labeling will be updated before it takes effect.

Reviews you submit

• Reviews must reflect your genuine experience. Do not submit reviews of a practice you have not visited, reviews written for payment, or reviews of yourself or your employer.
• By submitting a review you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to display, reproduce, and moderate it on the site.
• Every submission is moderated before it goes live. We may decline or remove reviews that are fraudulent, defamatory, unrelated to patient experience, or that disclose someone else’s private information. We do not remove reviews for being negative.
• Reviews synced from Google are the statements of their authors as published on Google, not statements by us.

Acceptable use

You agree not to scrape the site at abusive volume, attempt to compromise its security, submit false information through its forms, or use the site to harass any person. We may block access that violates these terms.

Intellectual property

The site’s original content, design, and branding belong to Modern Cataract Surgery. Third-party content — including Google reviews and practice photographs — belongs to its respective owners.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Your choice of surgeon is yours alone; we are not a party to, and accept no liability arising from, any care relationship you enter with a listed practice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida.
