Dr. Joshi is a fellowship-trained, board-certified ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgeon who founded the Joshi Eye Institute in Boynton Beach. A former Chief of Vitreoretinal Surgery and Ophthalmology Residency Site Director at the VA in Gainesville, he routinely manages difficult and complex cases referred by other retina specialists and is known for an attentive, compassionate bedside manner.

I want to let everyone know of the great work that Dr Joshi at Joshi institute provided me. I went to his office to get my cataracts removed from both eyes. His thorough examination revealed that I had stigmatism in my right eye. He explained that I needed to remove the stigmatism during the cataract removal from my right eye because if he didn't do it then I would not be able to get it done later. I decided to take his advice, even though Humana wouldn't cover it. Thanks to his experience and expertise, I now have 2020 vision in my right eye. No more contacts or glasses. I have mono vision my left eye sees close up and my right eye is for distance! Thank you Dr Joshi for your outstanding work! Thank you also to his staff for their service and dedication too.
