The minute you enter this office, you know it is a great place! The employees that greet you at the front desk are very personable, and every area of the office is clean and comfortable. The office procedures they have in place are such that you do not have to wait more than a few moments at each stage of your appointment and every employee that takes care of you is efficient and friendly. The concierge format works well. My concierge, Reagan, was available to answer questions or concerns and if she was not immediately available, someone else was there to respond. Dr. Shumski is very professional and listened to my needs and preferences before giving me options about a replacement lens after cataract surgery, and the day after surgery follow-up appointment with Dr. Callaway was efficient, personable, and thorough. I would highly recommend Magruder Laser Vision in College Park.
The doctors and staff at Magruder Laser Vision College Park were wonderful! Everyone, from the front desk to the surgical suite, was friendly and professional and truly made me feel comfortable. My surgeon, Dr. Shumski, is the best and I loved Dr. Nguyen who handled my post-op visits. I highly recommend this practice.

I was a patient at Magruder Laser Vision, College Park Office, very recently and was very pleased and relaxed with the lovely environment and the very efficient, professional, warm and personable staff. Additionally my eyes have only been subjected to surgery due to industrial accidents / foreign objects. After visiting other ophthalmologists. I chose here for their professional business like manner, 1st rate technology, a deep team of care-givers, and their sincere and honest communications. The surgeon was examining my eye ; sat back and said while you cannot see clearly, I cannot see inside your eye very well. He was the only doctor who said that to me! They checked with others who had seen my eye pre-cataract to ensure the health of my eyeball.

I appreciate this office, staff and doctors! From my first experience, everyone was welcoming and genuinely kind. I felt comfortable asking questions and getting the answers I needed in making my treatment decisions. The follow up was caring and considerate.
