I brought my 80-year-old nanny to Henry Ford Hospital on W. Grand Blvd. in Detroit today, and we were pleasantly surprised by how wonderful the experience was! We were able to get three appointments taken care of in one day, with the last two being added on. The staff was incredibly accommodating and was able to see us, which was so convenient and saved us from having to make additional trips. She especially wanted me to leave a good review because she truly appreciates the care she received, especially from Ophthalmology. Everyone was kind, helpful, and professional. While we waited, we were even able to grab Subway in the cafeteria, which made the long day much easier. The valet service was also fast and convenient. They even provided us with a voucher to cover the valet parking, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Our car was brought back quickly when we were ready to leave. Overall, we had a very positive experience at Henry Ford today. From the medical staff to the valet service, everyone treated us with kindness and made a busy day of appointments feel much easier. Thank you, Henry Ford, for taking such good care of my nanny! ❤️

Wishing you well.Had to go to the ER at the Grand River location. Everyone was amazing. Care was exceptional. This was my first HF experience (used to go to another hospital for care). Glad I chose Henry Ford.
Response from the ownerKate, thank you so much for taking the time to provide us with this feedback. It makes us so happy to hear!Absolutely the most insane experience I’ve had at a hospital rude dismissal and miss meds
Response from the ownerHello Nate, we are sorry to hear this and will be sharing your feedback with the appropriate staff. As soon as we receive your contact information, we will be in touch to address your concerns. Thank you for your time. This Saturday I had the worst experience of an emergency room A person can ever have. my mother had to catch an ambulance into the hospital. The staff is so rude and disrespectful. They treat you like they do not want to hear from you. You’re not allowed to ask questions people say excuse me, and they keep walking like they don’t hear you. We sat there from 3 o’clock in the afternoon to 4:30 in the morning without one person coming to see if she was all right and my mother is a diabetic they didn’t bring her anything to eat. Ask if she wanted something to drink. They just stuck her in the hallway and just left her.I swear on God‘s green earth I would never allow my family member or any friend I know to ever step foot into that hospital again I give you three thumbs down with a -99. My mother was moments away from dying and she was not even second on the list of being seen when she came in by ambulance. I’m so upset with myself for suggestion this hospital to the ambulance people I’m grateful for what they did for her when they came to the house, but Henry Ford Hospital does not even exist to me anymore! The best thing Henry Ford hospital could ever do is shut down the hospital on W. Grand Blvd. And on top of all of this, when the doctor did reach out to us, she called me on my cell phone instead of coming to my mother to discuss what they have found who have been sitting on a stretcher in the hallway for over eight hours! 🤬
Response from the ownerHi, we’re sorry to hear about your mother's experience and would like to address these concerns. Please either provide you or your mother’s preferred contact information at the following secure link and we will be in touch to further discuss: henryford.com/experience. Thank you. This place needs to be investigated by the state medical board. Filthy, under staffed, and wrong diagnosis. They almost killed my sons mother by shooting her up with insulin thinking her diabetes was causing pain. It was not. It was pancreatitus. Beaumont was able to figure it out. She was sick for months. After getting the correct care shes in much better shape. I will not get into what henry ford botched with my son. But we will never go back, fortunately we can go to another hospital, the people that can't i feel extremely bad for. I feel so strongly about the 3rd world care detroiters recieve at this hospital I had to post.
