A graduate of the University of Illinois Medical School, she has performed more than 15,000 LASIK procedures and offers advanced cataract surgery with premium intraocular lenses. About Dr. Juli Larson
Dr. Juli Larson is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in refractive and cataract surgery, as well as comprehensive eye care. She earned her undergraduate degree from North Park University in Chicago and her medical degree from the University of Illinois Medical School. She completed her internship at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois—earning the “Most Outstanding Intern of the Year Award”—and her ophthalmology residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, where she served as Chief Resident.
A fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Larson is also a member and former president of the Vermont Ophthalmological Society, and a member of the International Society of Refractive Surgery. She serves as the VISX Certified LASIK Surgeon for Sightpath Medical and sits on their advisory board. Since 2006, Sightpath Medical has recognized her as one of the Top 5 Refractive Surgeons in the nation.
Dr. Larson has performed LASIK surgery since 2000, completing more than 15,000 successful procedures at her state-of-the-art laser center. She also provides advanced cataract surgery, offering specialty intraocular lenses to help reduce dependence on glasses and enhance visual outcomes. In addition, she treats glaucoma and offers comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages.
As a founding member of Vermont’s only ambulatory surgery center, Dr. Larson brings convenient, high-quality surgical care to her community, performing cataract and other ophthalmic procedures on-site.

Dr. Larson & the VT Eyelaser team is absolutely phenomenal! The customer service is exceptional, and I walked away feeling like their friend. I am so grateful for getting LASIK, and the whole team was extremely kind and supportive, even after my surgery. I couldn’t recommend them enough!
The entire procedure was exceptional. Lisa, Hannah, and Dr. Larson, along with the rest of the staff, were wonderful. All of my questions were answered, and each step was clearly explained, which made the experience feel comfortable and never overwhelming. I truly appreciated the time and care taken to ensure I felt at ease. I would absolutely recommend this to everyone I know. I can actually see better then I ever did with glasses or contracts.

I had an excellent experience at Vermont Eye Laser. Dr. Larson was absolutely incredible, knowledgeable, kind, and made me feel comfortable and confident every step of the way. The only regret I have is I didn't do it sooner! The entire team was fantastic with communication, explaining everything clearly and being so responsive and professional throughout the process. You can really tell they care about their patients. I couldn't be happier with my experience and would highly recommend to anyone considering Lasik surgery.
Dr. Larson did lasik surgery on me and then 10 years later a tune up. 15 years later i still have 20/20 vision thanks to her. Today she took a piece of metal out of my eye. In office in and out. I felt better immediately and could even drive home. The whole team is excellent. Eye care for the Adirondacks said I might be blinded if they did it. I believe that.
Greedy and unhelpful. Getting LASIK is easy. They are responsive to calls, very friendly, the whole process is well oiled and stress free. After you give them your money, they don’t respond. They over corrected my vision, then brushed me off several times on the phone when I asked to have an exam to determine if that was actually the case. I finally went to my regular eye doctor who confirmed the over correction and sent them a letter directly. After over a year of trying to talk to someone and get an appointment, I get a call from them days after the letter goes out acting as if this was the first they’d heard of me needing to get back in. Then they tell me that correction is another $500 per eye! Absolutely ridiculous. Do not waste your money here.
My surgery was 100% successful! I was in great hands with Dr.Larson and her staff. They are professional and friendly. Everything was clearly explained to me before and during the procedure. Had I known how easy this was going to be I would have have the surgery done years ago.
I recently had Lasik done with Dr. Juli Larson and her staff! The whole office had a very comfortable feel annd Everyone I had interaction with on staff was very nice helpful and knowledgeable! The surgery itself was done before I realized it started! Then I could see perfectly before I left the waiting room to go home and now have been able to see better than I ever have!
