Dr. Gorla, Dr. Young, and the rest of the team at Chicago Glaucoma are amazing. Each and everyone with whom I dealt during my LAL cataract surgery procedure and aftercare (2-3 months) was patient, and took all the necessary time to clearly explain things to me. Above all, they were all so skilled and dedicated. I feel lucky to have their expertise available to me. Shout out to Dr. Holly Weiss, my regular ophthalmologist at Chicago Glaucoma. She is smart and very thorough and has a great demeanor. This is an excellent, full service practice for eye health..
I have never, ever met a doctor with a better bedside manner and demeanor than Dr. Gorla. My very, very young child needed emergency eye surgery under anesthesia. He lead with the utmost kindness, a calming presence, genuinely listened to our concerns and never dismissed us. The procedure was swift and successful and now my child is back to her happy self after he fixed the issue. You are in the safest, most phenomenal hands if you choose this Doctor. His approach made a terrifying experience for new parents into a fond memory I will never forget. Amazing person and Doctor who treats you like a good friend with impeccable communication and delivery. I cannot say enough good things about him and his beautiful practice. He simply went above and beyond for his patient and we are forever deeply grateful. Thank you x1000 for everything you do Doctor Gorla! You are incredible!
Wonderful doctor!!!
A very courteous, caring, efficient, and conscientious staff from the moment you walk in and until you leave.
I was on glaucoma drops and the second year my pressure starting increasing. I was referred to Dr Gorla and tried more glaucoma drops which didn't work. He also tried a laser procedure that also didn't lower my eye pressure. He was very comforting and encouraging during this time. It got to the point where he suggested surgery. He suggested we start with my right eye which the the worst of the two - and a procedure that was less invasive. He performed an OMNI Goniotomy procedure which didn't lower the pressure. He was not discouraged and suggested a Trabeculectomy. That lowered my eye pressure down to 13. My left eye Trabeculectomy was also successful. It's been almost a year since my last surgery and I'm happy to say that my eye pressures are around 10 and 14. I'm very happy that Dr Gorla is my ophthalmologist.
Dr Gorla . He spent the time with me . Very nice Man .
Dr. Gorla is one of the most caring and most professional doctors I have ever met. Excellent doctor
Terrible customer service. Haven't been able to get a hold of the doctor to discuss test results for 3+ weeks. Place runs like a factory and you're treated as such.
