Thanks for the wonderful review of your visit to Eye Center of Northern Colorado in Fort Collins.I saw Dr Emily Smith for my exam on 10-22. This was by far the most thorough exam I’ve ever had. She identified cataracts in both eyes and made a referral. She was professional throughout and especially treated her scribe, Trey, with great respect. On a separate administrative note, I’m really disappointed that everything at the Eye Center is now being input on an iPad. I understand the value of the immediacy of the updates across the network, but I know what a struggle it is to try to peck on a screen keyboard to type. It makes me nervous as a patient to be confident that all my critical data is input correctly. I would at least suggest providing a physical keyboard for all employees. The medical care is awesome - confidence in your system could be better.
