I'm very surprised at a 5 star rating for Dr. Jason Stahl. I went to him bc I was promised compromising (not 20/20) ONE field of vision when I paid a considerable amount out of pocket for cataract lens replacement. I was given the choice of distance OR reading. It would have been completely covered had I gone to another doctor as you sign a release for him to exclude Medicare. I ended up having both near-sided & far-sidedness. After 2 years of trying to get it right, I was told that I would have to pay another $250 if I wanted to continue with him. He was extremely condescending at my last visit. When I requested a scrip for glasses he said, No. Your eyes are all over the place, not explaining what he meant .As a nurse practitioner, I know his treatment & condescending manner is not how you treat any patient..ever. I called his office manager to tell about the visit & we decided that my husband (a pulmonologist) & I would meet with him. There were so many excuses but bottom line, I paid several thousand dollars to wear glasses at all times for the rest of my life. It was not what I was promised. I would have had the same results with full coverage (no cost) from another ophthalmologist.

Had SBK in the morning on a Friday and had 20/15 vision at 8:30am the next day. Truly the best decision I’ve ever made. I’m so happy with my procedure and vision. The procedure was 8 minutes!
