I love Dr. Kung and everyone at Kung Eye Center in East Brunswick. From the receptionists to the techs to the doctors, everyone is caring, pleasant, helpful and professional. I had cataract surgery with Dr. Kung two years ago and everything went perfectly. Dr. Kung is very kind and gentle; he explains the procedure in detail, answers all your questions and reassures you if you are nervous. The surgery was a complete success. Unfortunately, I had some scar tissue formation, which happens sometimes, that had to be taken care of with laser surgery, which I had yesterday. The procedure took about 3 minutes, no problems at all, and my vision is restored sharp and clear! I live about 40 minutes from the office, but I would drive even further to be treated by Dr. Kung. Thank you, Dr. Kung and staff for a wonderful experience and excellent care!
This was my follow up visit and consultation with Dr. Kung. I arrived slightly early for my appointment and was taken quickly for testing and exams to determine if any changes had occurred with my vision in between my first visit, exam and diagnosis. I meet with Dr Kung who reviewed my chart and inquired as to my vision issues. He then conducted an examination of each eye and determined that I would be a good candidate for laser correction for my vision issue. After dilation of both eyes the laser procedure was done for my right eye in office. Upon completion Dr. Kung provided me with instructions on recovery, restrictions and followup appointments. I will have the same procedure scheduled for my left eye in about 5 weeks. I was extremely happy that my detached retina was able to be repaired with an in office laser procedure as opposed to a hospital procedure. As of this review, I have not experienced any complications concerning my vision and am happy with the results. Dr Kung and his team are great !
Excellent Care I had a very positive experience with Dr. John Kung and his staff. Dr. Kung is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and takes the time to explain everything clearly. I felt comfortable throughout my visit and confident that I was receiving excellent eye care. His experience and expertise really stand out, and the staff was courteous and helpful as well. I would definitely recommend Dr. Kung to anyone looking for an excellent ophthalmologist.
