Cataract surgery both eyes a week apart; appreciate being well informed prior to lense decision, eye exam done every visit, surgery center ran smoothly and on time . Out come I am happy with 71 year old…. Still no glasses!
I saw Dr Marisol Gomez for yearly Ophalmalogy checkup and dry eye condition that I have had for years. Just moved to Austin area from DFW and had all my history transferrred. Dr Gomez was very thorough and attentive to prior details in order to assess and provide continued treatment. Highly recommended her. The office personnel are all very competent and friendly. Easy to make appointments.
Dell Laser Consultants are the very best in Texas, the best doctors, the best facility and the best outcomes. I have been a patient since they first started and have received treatment for glaucoma and cataracts. I continue to receive extraordinary care. Although my eye pressure has continued to be low due to my prescribed eye drops, I am now receiving a new laser treatment that may make it possible to lower the use of eye drops and maintain low pressure. Dell Laser Consultants never stop learning how best to utilize cutting edge technology for the benefit of their patients.
Very good experience with Dr Varu and Dr Nguyn -- I did the light adjustable cataract lenses almost a year ago. It was a great decision, I have clear 20/20 vision now. At the outset, I didn't really have an idea which cataract lenses to choose, and they were super helpful. I had Lasik to correct severe near-sightedness almost 30 years ago and it turns out that makes it trickier to measure and choose the lens correction that will work. So the light-adjustable are new technology that solves it. Sounds crazy, but they insert the light adjustable lens, and then a couple months later after everything has settled down -- they use UV laser light to adjust the lens after it's in your eye. I will say, you need to be patient, it takes lots of appointments and visits for the light-adjustable lens, but you do get a great result. Dr Nguyn, who I saw repeatedly is a joy. Thanks! Very happy.

I was referred to Dell Laser for cataract surgery and, after a consultation, chose the Light Adjustable Lens. Dr. Varu performed the surgery, and Drs. Gomez and Nguyen performed the follow-up examination, testing, and lens adjustment. I have lived with the results for a few weeks now, and I am very happy with my vision. In addition to the great outcome, I also appreciate the friendly, professional service they provided. They are skilled at what they do and take their responsibilities seriously.

As a longstanding patient, I’m disappointed by this office’s billing practices and customer service. Before scheduling a tear duct plug procedure, I specifically called to confirm the cost. The same price was quoted again at my visit, and I paid my expected portion as I left the appointment. Unfortunately, something went wrong with the plugs which caused immense pain and had to be removed the very next day anyway. Months later, I received an additional bill for an office exam that was never explained to me and that I do not believe I even received. After repeated calls and leaving messages without a callback, I finally reached someone who dismissively told me the front desk staff didn’t understand billing and that this was simply how the doctor codes visits. I asked if they could waive the remaining charge as I believed it was in error and was not communicated to me when I confirmed before the appointment. She again, very dismissively declined. When I said I would dispute the charge with my insurance, she responded, “You do that,” and hung up. I’m now having to pursue this dispute with my insurance company, whose initial response was that the charge did appear odd. Patients deserve clear pricing, responsive communication, and respectful treatment. I have no issue paying for the dear duct appointment as that was what the appointment I scheduled and received. I do take issue with the office throwing in mysterious billing charges that have no basis. The doctor's may be good but the front office is run very poorly. Disappointing experience after being a patient for so long.
I have been doing follow up visits since surgery on my eyes. The entire staff makes you feel welcome. Dr. Cunningham has put on the right trail in keeping my eyes healthy. I appreciate them all. Had another follow up on my eyes with Dr. Cunningham. He said my eyes are looking great since being on the eye drops he prescribed for me. No pressure in my eyes. No problems of any kind. He is taking great care of my eyes. Once again , everyone that I had working with me was super nice. This is the place to go for your eyes.
