Came in for a initial consultation for LASIK. Everyone from the front office staff, the person who did my scans, and the doctors were very kind and professional. While I decided not to get corrective eye surgery, I would recommend this center for anyone looking into LASIK or other options. Both Dr.Wysiadlowski and Dr.Gunduru took the time to answer all my questions and concerns.

We are glad you had an excellent experience.I came here with my husband, in hopes of coming to a resolution for a cataract that developed following a retinal reattachment. The first part of the appointment with the technician was great. The technician was very personable and made my husband feel at ease and even hopeful about it what might further come out of the appointment. The unfortunate part about a technician, is that their knowledgeable only goes so far and you ultimately have to wait on the doctor to tell you what’s what and I understand that. However, it was nice to have a little glimmer of hope for only a moment. When the first surgeon came in to meet my husband and go over the results, he listened to my husband’s issue, took a few notes and then said he’d have to talk to another surgeon to see what the options are. The second surgeon came in, and while he did spend a good bit time of time talking to me and husband, he was more so letting us air out our grievances because he had no solutions. In so many words, he basically said there is no hope for the eye with the cataract (even though my husband can see movement, just not clearly due to the cataract) and to essentially stop worrying about it and just focus on the one eye that is good. This is a far different response than what we’ve received from previous doctors. While the doctor tried to come off understanding and compassionate, the body language and overall interaction was cold. My husband left feeling completely discouraged. And I felt bad because I’m the one that suggested he to go to the Wang Institute. Additionally, they did note that my husband’s eye pressure was very high during his visit but did not prescribe anything. I don’t believe that this should be standard care when a patient presents concerning symptoms. We won’t be back.
