Dr. Bruce Rivers is a fabulous, caring, thorough and excellent surgeon. I would recommend him and the staff at Envue Eye & Laser Center to any family or friends needing an eye specialist. The entire staff was very professional, made me feel very comfortable and answered all my questions regarding cataract surgery. They took their time to explain all the procedures I would be going through from pre-op to post-op. Everyone made my experience a great one!
Had a wonderful experience with Envue - Dr. Rivers and the whole team are professional, friendly, and committed to making you comfortable, from consultation to the day of your procedure. I am five days out from SMILE surgery and very pleased with the result so far!

We’re so excited and happy for you!I'm an artist & put cataract surgery off for 13 years because my only reference was those scary scenes from, "A Clockwork Orange." I was afraid. I only sought out cataract surgery when my vision threatened my ability to renew my driver's license. My procedure was so easy. Everything was explained beforehand right down to pictures of what my vision would be like with the various lens choices. The staff was so kind & friendly. They were also very thorough. I felt seen & taken care of the entire time. Dr. Rivers was way beyond my expectation: he took the time to visit with me & answer my questions. He explained what I would feel/what he was doing during the procedures. He followed up with me by phone to make sure I was doing ok. Probably most important, I genuinely like the man...something of a luxury in today's health-care where you take what you can get & better be grateful for it. One important thing I learned is that Dr. Rivers limits the number of cataract surgeries on the day he designates for those. That tells me each patient gets the proper amount of attention & care. I recommend Envue and Dr. Rivers to anyone needing the services they provide. Check them out for yourself: I am certain you will have a positive experience similar to mine. For myself, what a gift to be able to see clearly again!

This was my first surgery in my 56 years of life. Considering it was my vision i was very concerned with the process. I will honestly admit from the Staff to the Doctors they did an amazing job to manage my comfort level, address all questions and made me feel confident. All went as planned, my vision is amazing to say the least. I no longer need glasses and i have worn prescription glasses for close to 30 years. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ENVUE for your Eyecare needs.
