Dr. Scott LaBorwit is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract and refractive surgery, and the President and Founder of Select Eye Care. He completed his residency at the Krieger Eye Institute and a glaucoma fellowship at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins. Dr. LaBorwit also serves as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Johns Hopkins and holds leadership roles within Vision Innovation Partners.

Dr. Scott LaBorwit is a highly respected ophthalmologist with advanced expertise in cataract, refractive, and glaucoma surgery. A graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine, he completed his ophthalmology residency at the Krieger Eye Institute of Sinai Hospital and went on to complete a glaucoma fellowship at the renowned Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. LaBorwit is deeply involved in ophthalmic education and innovation. He serves as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology on the part-time faculty at the Wilmer Eye Institute and is the Clinical Advisory Chair for Vision Innovation Partners. Nationally recognized for his contributions to the field, Dr. LaBorwit has lectured across the country and authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters on glaucoma and ocular trauma.
