Disappointed. Save yourself $4k and go see Pacific Eye (Dr. Amir) for cataracts They will charge you $2k less per eye for light adjustable lenses. I discovered this after waiting too long to return for a pre-op appointment (life!), but still tried to return in under a year, and they wanted me to start all over from the first screening exam. They already knew I had cataracts! They didn’t need to charge me a second time for that appointment, and told them so. When I called this to the scheduler’s attention, she bumped me to her manager, who told me that I would have to start over if I went to new doctor anyway. I said yes, but that’s my choice, and it won’t be with your office. I don’t need to be charged double for the same appointment - that’s just wrong. This is why our medical system has become so expensive!!! NO THANKS!

Dr. Wu was clearly very smart and communicated well... maybe needs a bit more empathy skills. Staff was very friendly and courteous, but we had to remind them to give me the nighttime eye patch, the eyedrops we had purchased, and the coupon for the eyedrops we needed to buy.... must have been a bad day!

I sat in the exam room for well over 30 minutes waiting for my eyes to dilate. The technician had to give me a second dose of the dilation drops, and still she was not satisfied that I was sufficiently dilated. Dr. Wu came in and did not have a problem with my exam.

Dr. Abroms was great! He is Kind, Caring and Listens to his patients! Dr. Wu and her team have been equally wonderful with each visit. The whole team from beginning to end have been wonderful to work with for my eye surgery and recovery.
