Right eye cataract removed by Dr Schmidt. He is professional, kind, and exceptional! His entire staff is beyond nice! Highly recommend for your eyesight needs!
Wow! Perfect 20/20 vision thanks to Dr. Gregory Schmidt!!! I had a really bad cataract in my right eye in 2014! ! Didn’t know what it was! Dr. Schmidt said he could do Cataract surgery to fix it! I was so nervous about someone poking into my eye! 😳 Outpatient surgery at Queens was so simple and painless!!! The actual procedure takes about 10 minutes under mild awake meds to numb the eye. About 2 hours total in prep and recovery. You need a driver to bring you home with the pirate eye patch. I Didn’t feel a thing!!!😀 just stare at the red light. Easy peasy! Next day 20/20!! I fortunately came across Dr. Schmidt’s website:Wow!!! My left eye Cataract surgery was at the end of 2014 also! July 2023 I just had the YAG laser procedure done in his office on both eyes 2 weeks apart! About one minute procedure on each eye. Absolutely painless! 20/20 vision next day both eyes! This is a cataract lens polishing procedure to clear away a tad 20/25 fogginess. Thanks also to his awesome staff!! Appointment times here are very prompt. So don’t be late. This is the only medical office l have ever been in that doesn’t make you wait!!!! Wow!!! If you are researching and looking for a doctor to take care of your vision. Dr. Schmidt is the person you need to talk with. Our son who is disabled and had multiple issues to his eye was given the ability to see after 5 years of no vision. He had a very thick cataract as well as scar tissue from a previous incident that was not detected earlier. We consulted for a year with Dr. Schmidt and decided to have the surgery. Our son the next day, said, "I can see". He cares, problem solves, and is easy to communicate with. The more we communicated, the more trust was established.
I felt that Dr Schmidt cared about my progress and listened to what I had to say. I left feeling very good about my surgery.
Indiana Hand and Shoulder has been wonderful for me. Had a pain start in the evening and I was able to get into an appointment that next early afternoon. Was taken in for X-rays before my appointment, Dr Schmidt came in at my appointment time. Listened to all my concerns and history, assessed my movements and was able to diagnose and treat me immediately. I truly appreciate that my pain was addressed quickly and effectively.
