Made an appointment with new PCP who was accepting new patients over 6 months ago for late August appointments which was first available. Today, July 9th received text stating my appointment was canceled and to call to reschedule. Then was told by scheduler the doctor is NO LONGER accepting any new patients! They only have one provider who is and he is scheduled through the end of December. Totally and completely unacceptable !!

I had to reschedule my appointment twice this is not good for business it’s very frustrating when your meds are outdated and my 3 months check very important to me this someone life ya’ll playing with. And I been living up here for two years I just need a primary doctor.
I am slowly moving all my medicare care to UAB Hoover. The staff, both medical and administrative are top notch. I love that they share records so my med list is right there and the physicians consult with each other when it would be helpful. I feel so fortunate to live near this facility. Actually I'd probably drive an hour for the cleanliness, easy parking, and streamlined process.
