Dr. Price M. Kloess, MD, FAAO is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist based in Mountain Brook, Alabama, with over 20 years of experience. He is affiliated with Grandview Medical Center-Birmingham, Birmingham Surgery Center, and Gardendale Surgical Associates.

Dr. Kloess specializes in LASIK procedures, laser cataract surgery, refractive lens exchange, intraocular lens (IOL) surgery, and corneal transplantation. He provides consultations at Alabama Vision Center and also serves as a clinical assistant for the Eye Hospital in Birmingham. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a former President of the Alabama Academy of Ophthalmology.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed his cornea fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Kloess has been married for over 35 years and is a member of Mountain Brook Community Church. He enjoys golf, traveling, and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
