Plans to waste the patient’s time, schedules four hours instead of three for evaluation, five hours instead of four for the surgery. Charges 10 times the standard rate for laser but offers zero assurance of additional benefits, only that his incision is more “precise”. Written material actually says vision may be worse. Charges for 2 identical special mix eye drops claiming potential cross-contamination. But if the drops are ineffective against bacteria found in the eye, they don’t belong there anyway. Charges each patient a fee to rent the space they take up, which is never covered by insurance. This and other miscellaneous add-on fees are not disclosed in advance when discussing cost of any procedure that I had. Lexington can do better than this.
