Dr Ling and his team has helped me with my healing journey. Over the two years I had to see them numerous times as my body took a long time to adjust and heal from the lenses. I am grateful that Dr Ling was honest, cared, and found solutions to help clear my vision each time I visited the office. Today I can see without glasses. I have already recommended a few friends to see him and they are also happy with the results. Thank you!

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Joseph Ling and his team. From the initial consultation to the surgery and follow-up visits, everything was smooth, professional, and reassuring. My RLE results exceeded all expectations—by the second day, I could see more clearly than at any time in my life. I grew up with amblyopia and relied on strong glasses and contact lenses for decades. Thanks to Dr. Ling, I no longer need them. Traveling is now so much easier without carrying contact lens cases, solutions, and backups. Dr. Ling is skilled, patient, and truly cares about his patients. This surgery has been life-changing for me. I highly and wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Ling and his wonderful team.
I had LASIK with Dr. Joseph Ling and could not have asked for a better experience! He was incredibly kind and had such a calming presence throughout the entire process — I felt completely at ease going into surgery. I woke up the next morning already seeing clearly! The outcome has been amazing. Dr. Ling and his team made me feel so cared for every step of the way, and I genuinely loved having them take care of me.
The procedure I had was life changing!!! I am able to see crystal clear both near and far and don’t need readers or any glasses at all since my procedure. Would do it 100 times over!!!!! Amazing!!!!!
My experience with Dr. Ling, Dr. Vuong and their team including; Monica, Nicole, Natalie , Sara and Sarah was incredible from first phone call to post surgery. I had the light adjustable lens replacement w/ Mono Vision and I am quite happy with the results. So nice not to need readers or glasses for distance!! Having eye correction surgery is a bit nerve-racking, but Dr. L and Dr. V's and their teams were such pros; knowledgeable and never rushed, that they made it seem like a breeze. A truly spot-on experience. I should also mention their office in San Jose is not only the nicest medical office I have ever been to with state of the art equipment, but is also welcoming and comfortable.

Helping patients wake up to clear vision is why I do what I do. Welcome to the glasses-free life!I took my friend to her RLE surgery in December of 2024. She had only good things to say about Dr. Ling, that he was thorough, clear, professional, and reassuring, and walked her through all her options. Since her surgery, she has been very happy with her results. When I brought my friend, the office was clean, bright, new, and felt high end. Parking was easy and free. The receptionist offered me water and different kinds of snacks, which happened to be allergen friendly and not junk food. I waited in the back waiting room while my friend got her eyes dilated, and then I got to watch her procedure through the glass walls (this is an option for anyone if the patient and family are curious). The team worked together in a harmonious and cohesive manner, each person a master in their role. The whole flow was seamless and efficient and the procedure itself only took a couple of minutes. Dr Ling himself was absolutely beautiful to watch. I don't think I have ever seen anyone move as gracefully who is not a professional dancer or Tai Chi practitioner. The way he handled the instruments was deft, subtle, and graceful. Even the way he carries himself is very fluid. He has a grounded and warm presence. My friend and I both agreed that it was reassuring to have someone working on her eyes who had such a good mind-body connection. Both my friend and I are nurses, and we know that healthcare workers can get burnt out and doctors see so many people that it's a blur of faces and patient ID numbers. We both felt that my friend was not just routine, and that the whole team took great care of her.
