There is nobody who is better as a surgeon and a cataracts expert than Dr. Assil. I would never trust anyone else. His care has been remarkable over the years. I highly recommend him.

Horribly rude, doesn’t have your interest in mind except to take your money not what’s best for your health. Bad experience all around.
I absolutely loved my experience and love my vision. I got lasik in Feb 2020 right before finishing nursing school. I am so happy to be able to go to work without glasses and ride my bike without worrying about my contact popping out. And soon to be a mother waking up at all hours taking care of baby. Now going towards three years after my surgery I use eye drops once or twice a week. Usually when its dry or I travel somewhere dry. I love my eyes and I am so happy with my vision. I am so grateful for Dr. Assil and his expertise as a top surgeon.
Dr Assil is very careless not Honest Dr. and the office staff specially the front desk is very rude. I would not recommend Dr Assil. They care only about collecting money from patients .
Dr. Assil is my Ophthalmologist for over 20 years. He gave me my vision back. He is very professional, highly intelligent, passionate and very dedicated to his work. He is a great team leader. His staff also treats you with respect and they make you feel welcomed.
I developed sudden vision loss in my left eye. Given that I was quite traumatized by what was happening to my vision, a friend suggested I visit the wonderful doctors at AEI. Dr. Pilyugina (Dr. P) determined that I had a retinal tear and performed a successful vitrectomy a few days later. Several months later, a huge cataract had formed over the lens and Dr. Assil performed laser cataract surgery. Two months after that, Dr. Assil did cataract surgery on my right eye. Today my vision is better than 20/20 and I'm so grateful to the excellent team at AEI. They were kind, knowledgeable, compassionate and assuaged all my fear about what was happening with my eyes. I highly recommend Dr. P and Dr. Assil for any eye problems you may be facing.
