I’m glad to have been referred to Dr Mills for my cataract surgery. The staff are exceptional, friendly and professional. Dr Mills and the other Dr were great. All my questions were answered with great explanation. Dr Mills was so nice friendly and caring talking to me about the surgery. Cataracts replaced went well and the new procedure in office was so nice. I recommend to anyone needing cataract surgery to see Dr Mills.
Dr. Mills gave me back my vision!! I will be forever grateful that I can wake up and see! Many people might take this for granted, but I am so blessed to have such perfect vision after Refractive Lens Exchange. Thank you Dr. Mills for your dedication to your medical specialty, and for the miraculous difference you have made in my life! Your knowledge and skill have been life changing for me. Your staff at Eye Care Professionals and Visionary Surgery Center were amazing! Everyone was kind and professional. The Nurses at the Surgery center, especially Dana, Ashley, Meghan and Aerial, really helped calm my nerves. Thank you all for a great experience.
Response from the ownerThank you for your kind words!Each visit results in 2 to 3 hour waits. At this practice an appointment time is just a suggestion. Not just one time. But every time! Will be back for the 10 month surgery follow up. But after that? Won't be back. Added this edit. Dr. Mills and his staff are great. It is just the wait times that are unacceptable. Every visit. Very excessive wait times. As a Capt. for a major US airline my hourly rate is probably close to or higher than Dr. Mills. Making money is important! But if I made my passengers wait for 2 or 3 hours past scheduled departure time for every flight? The airline would go out of business! My time is worth something too. Could be flying a trip earning money instead of waiting in his office for my wife to be seen. Customer service is always number one. Be it a Doctor's office. Or an airline. Take care of the people that pay your paycheck! Ok. Enough said.

Dr. Mills' professionalism, his positive and caring attitude and his attention to detail convinced me that he was the right Dr. for me. Dr Mills did both of my eyes within a 2 week period and I couldn't be happier with the results. I had no pain before, during or after the procedure, nor did I have any complications during and after surgery. Before surgery I felt that my world was dark and blurry, I needed contacts or glasses, and following the surgery on each eye, my world is bright and colorful, my vision is better than 20/20. Miraculous!!! And what a gift not to have to wear contacts or glasses anymore. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Mills for the gift of perfect vision. It was our pleasure to be your medical team and thank you for trusting us with your vision.I was referred to Dr. Mill's for pterygium's in both eyes. I was concerned about surgery and I did a great deal of research on different procedures and surgeons in my area. Another medical doctor friend of mine in another city also researched and suggested Dr Mills. I met with Dr. Mills for an initial consultation. I was impressed with his staff and his personal due diligence. He discussed the sizes, pros and cons if left alone. He also discussed the pros and cons of surgery, likelihood of reoccurrence. Dr. Mills uses a specific anti-cancer eye drop at time of surgery which according to his 20 plus years of eye surgeries prevents reoccurrence compared to other methods. Dr. Mills also served 10 years in the US Army at Walter Reed. Experience is non issue when it comes to eye surgery and his ability. Over last 2 months I have had both pterygium's removed. Both have involved multiple follow-ups to monitor healing and to prevent infections. My eye sight is getting better by the day. The pterygium's were pulling on my cornea's and affecting my eye sight. It was a big decision to have eye surgery and after a great deal of research to have Dr. Mills do the procedures. I'm so pleased and content with his work. Unlike most doctors, Dr. Mills has great conversations and explanation of every step along the way. Thank you Dr. Mills.
My husband went to see Mills in February..was told to go to a retina Dr just to have something checked out..he did..but his eye surgery was scheduled..the office called..canceled it and said he could make another appointment to come in as to much time had passed for surgery so..we made another appointment..went in and surgery was scheduled again as they didnt have a full time scheduler!?..then we got a call it had to be canceled..this is the 2nd time..the surgery was scheduled AGAIN and BAM guess what canceled AGAIN..this is #3..these people could care less about YOUR schedule so..we will not be going back..oh yea..charged for office visits when you go back do to THEIR screw ups..be very leary of making appointments for eye surgery..they cancel on you ALL the time. The new "surgery" they wanted to schedule was for August/September..ridiculous!
Happy to have gone to Dr. Mills for my cataract surgery. I felt him to be confident and have integrity. Surgery went well and follow ups were professional. Good vision is now a reality without problems at any level. Also thanks to Dr. Leila Mirbaha and all other members of the staff who seemed to be doing their best.

Tired of the inconsiderate Drs. that cannot have their staff make a phone call to reschedule when there are delays. Cancelled appt. Very disappointed.
