Doctors are great. But trying to get an appointment is a nightmare. You cannot call not call in. You are better to text. And then do not expect a reply immediately! If you need to Make an appointment you are best to stop by and speak to someone face to face. Because calling makes you leave a message and maybe 24 hours when you hear a response! Then it can take up to 3 hours for a completion of your appointment. As I have waited as long as an hour to get just called back. This office may have too many patients or the staff/ not doctors are overwhelmed!
From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how friendly, welcoming, and professional everyone was. The facility is beautiful, clean, and equipped with top-of-the-line technology, which immediately gave me confidence that I was in great hands. The entire staff made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. I usually get a little anxious during eye exams, but they made me feel so comfortable from start to finish. I highly recommend Dr. Iskander and San Antonio Eye Specialists to anyone looking for exceptional eye care. Their professionalism, expertise, and outstanding patient care truly set them apart!

Last week, I underwent Limbal Relaxing Incision surgery, and my experience has been nothing short of amazing. The entire office operates with such professionalism and efficiency. I just had my 2nd eye done yesterday, for cataracts. He's not only a TOP TIER surgeon, he's extremely nice and patient. He TRULY is patient-focused 100%. The procedure is well coordinated and fairly quick. Go home the same day. I have zero pain. I opted for the laser surgery (really the only way to go), where they take the old lense out, and put in a new one that also corrects my vision. Bonus, the laser also corrects your astigmatism! So a two-fer! And his office staff and surgical team are just FANTASTIC all-around! Everyone is always friendly and want to help. Thank you Dr. Iskander and team!!! You've changed my life.

Kristine, your trust and support is the best "Thank You" we could ask for.Post cataract surgery was fine on my right eye but Not on my left. I was told I had to have an LAL lense. This lense costs over 3k. It has never fit correctly. I was passed around to several doctors that never helped me. Three prescriptions were written for me for glasses , and all three prescriptions were wrong! A year and a half later, I am still not seeing clearly, my eyes very uncomfortable feeling like I have a contact lends in it.That doesn't fit and my eyes are extremely dry. I have had to see another surgeon to actually get some help! This will drag out for several more months. This office only wanted to do surgery and get me out of there because they could not or refused to fix things. I do not recommend this establishment.
