I had surgery on 6/25 and again, on 7/2. Both my experiences were good, except for the staff member whom came to the side of the stretcher pre op on 7/2, never introduced herself, I had to ask her, her name and then said to me ,”I have eye drops for you,”and she started administering them to me, never explaining what they were for. When I asked her how many she had she responded , “a lot”, and started laughing. I wish I remembered your name, as I just want to address you by your name. You need to have a little more empathy for the patients on the stretchers!! We are at your mercy, and you know it!!!!!You were arrogant and rude. I too was a R.N. for 40 years, and many times I rendered care to patients who were scared of the unknown. If I ever spoke to them the way you spoke to me, I would hang my head in shame. My pre-op nurse Crickett was very nice , as were the post op nurses.
I had an excellent experience with Dr. Mathews. She took the time to explain my options and helped me choose the BVI trifocal lens that was the best fit for my lifestyle and vision goals. The results exceeded my expectations—I achieved 20/20 vision just 24 hours after surgery on each eye. The entire process was smooth, and I felt confident in my care every step of the way. I highly recommend Dr. Mathews to anyone considering cataract surgery

The Center for Sight is extremely well run. The commitment to risk management was highly visible. For instance, they asked me my name, my date of birth, my procedure and the lens purchased for insertion at least 8 times. The staff was amazing!
