I have been using the eye center for many years, specifically for my son who was diagnosed with empty sella syndrome at a very young age. We were referred to Dr Butera and she has been seeing my son for many years. We stopped for a couple of years and then needed to resume the follow ups. Unfortunately the front desk assistants were not helpful at all when I called to get an appointment. In addition to the fact that they were extremely rude, and I had to explain why I asked for doctor Butera, they kept me on hold more than half an hour, hung up on me many times, and when finally o agreed to see a different doctor based on the nurse’s claim that Dr Butera said my son can be seen by any one is he is now 20, they gave me a fake appointment and when my son went in they said they never ever booked him and that the first available is a month later! They are rude, disrespectful and impolite. All shouldn’t be the way in such a practice with big names. I hope the doctors would read my post and address the unprofessional behavior.
I had the greatest experience with Dr. Boutros. He performed my lasik surgery and was very informative. The Eye Center was great at explaining what I needed to do before and after the procedure.
