The nurse that saw me was very nice and friendly and so was the doctor, but I honestly wouldn't have went had i know if wouldn't be able to get glasses through there. Also the lady that does the billing on the way out was incredibly rude, and just because of her, i wont be back. She laughed in my face when i told her that i couldn't pay $85 today just for a visit and one exam, which to me is ridiculous when I have insurance.
My dad is going here for cataracts surgery. So far he is very happy with them. The office is beautiful and very roomy. Plenty of seating in waiting area. Plenty of parking.
Everything went well with my first cataract lens. Today is my other eye surgery. I look forward to having it done and so far it really has been a great experience. Listen to your instructions for care and it's truly painless! Happy with Ship & Wooten. Everyone is kind and makes sure your experience is good.

Then I cancelled appointment and still got a letter in my mail for a no cancellation fee for $25 when I cancelled appointment and never even been to this doctors office yet still I get charged. It’s ridiculous every time I called was just confusion and told different things everytime I called like they don’t know how to do their job or what is going on. Very sad actually this isn’t how a doctors office should run.

Any New or New Referrals should not be charged a No-Show fee or a cancellation fee and if a patient has received one it would have been inadvertently sent. Regarding scheduling administrative errors, our policy is to immediately void any accidental billing charges, including scheduling oversights or miscommunicated no-show fees as soon as they are brought to our attention. We are glad our billing team was able to resolve this administrative misunderstanding and zero out the balance. We also want to clarify how insurance coordinates with specialized eye care. As a medical ophthalmology practice, our services are billed through medical health insurance rather than routine vision plans. Standard medical insurance policies do not provide coverage for hardware like eyeglasses or frames at an ophthalmologist's office. The only exception is under federal Medicare guidelines, which provide a one-time allowance for standard glasses specifically for patients who have undergone cataract surgery. For routine vision care and standard eyewear coverage, patients generally utilize a routine vision plan at an optometrist’s office. We always strive to deliver clear communication and exceptional care.I don't usually leave reviews, but Dr. Wooten and his team were incredible. After being misdiagnosed elsewhere, they identified my rare and very painful eye condition within 15 minutes. Dr. Wooten made time in his schedule to perform a laser procedure immediately, and I walked out, well on the road to recovery, in less than two hours. I’m so grateful for their expertise—highly recommended!
Some of the nicest people I have ever met on both sides. They're all good at their jobs but take time to make sure you understand everything. I had cataract surgery with laser on both eyes. Now seeing like I never had anything wrong with them! Thank you so much to the Drs and staff! Y'all are wonderful!
