Dr. Nelson is a refractive cataract surgeon focused on helping each patient achieve the best possible visual outcome consistent with their own goals. He was the first eye surgeon in Mississippi to implant a Light Adjustable Lens, established the first stand-alone LASIK center in the Pine Belt in 2006, and was the first in the state to perform blade-free, laser-based cataract procedures. He also offers the latest minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries.
