Dr. Nelson is a refractive cataract surgeon focused on helping each patient achieve the best possible visual outcome consistent with their own goals. He was the first eye surgeon in Mississippi to implant a Light Adjustable Lens, established the first stand-alone LASIK center in the Pine Belt in 2006, and was the first in the state to perform blade-free, laser-based cataract procedures. He also offers the latest minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries.

Every time my 83-year-old mother has an appointment with him; She has to wait over two hours. She is exhausted by the time she sees the doctor. This is totally unacceptable and unnecessary for an elderly person to have to wait that long in a waiting room who has health issues. Unfortunately my mother feels she has NO choice!
