Dr. Kris Gillian, M.D., is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over two decades of experience serving patients in the Atlanta area. A native of Little Rock, Arkansas, Dr. Gillian earned his B.A. from Emory University and completed his medical degree at the University of Arkansas, where he received an academic scholarship. He went on to complete his internship at the University of Tennessee and an ophthalmology residency in Pittsburgh.
During residency, Dr. Gillian participated in an international surgical mission in Samara, Russia at the hospital founded by Dr. Svyatoslav Fyodorov, a pioneer in refractive surgery. Today, Dr. Gillian is a highly experienced surgeon, having performed thousands of procedures. His specialties include premium implant cataract surgery, LASIK, glaucoma and diabetic eye care, macular degeneration management, eyelid surgery, and pterygium removal.
He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology. Dr. Gillian currently practices at Georgia Eye Associates and is accepting new patients.

Was very pleased and impressed with my first visit to Georgia Eye Associates. From the front office, to the technicians and Doctor Winski himself. All friendly and professional. No one was pushy and trying to sell me more than what I needed. Lots of frames to choose from and at reasonable prices. I highly recommend Georgia Eye Associates. Glad my friend referred me.
Very polite at the front desk and everyone was friendly and thorough until the end. I’ve never had that kind of care and all the testing to make sure my eyes are good at my age.
I love Georgia Eye Associates. I've been going to them for years. Dr. Chartash and everyone at the front desk, the young lady in the back, that I spoke with after seeing the doctor was amazing!! If I remember correctly, I had a question and Jasmine assisted me. You're amazing! I was in and out. I definitely recommend Georgia Eye Associates. See you next year!
Georgia Eye Associates deserve a 5star rating and review! The office was clean, the staff were professional and the doctor was informative and friendly. I highly recommend.
Be prepared to wait up to 1 hour before seeing your eye doctor. Other than that, is a great place for eye examination. Doctors are amazing. Technicians are okay. They can be friendlier, but not complain. Overall 7.5/10.
