Dr. Jennings is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery, refractive surgery (LASIK), and the management of corneal and external disease. He has helped pioneer pre-loaded DMEK transplant tissue and serves as an Adjunct Clinical Professor teaching medical students in the Augusta University and University of Georgia clinical partnership.

I saw Dr. Jennings on 4/15 and decided to schedule my cataract surgery for June on both eyes after seeing him. I spoke with Dr. Jennings' surgery assistant, Luanna Martinez, and we scheduled the dates. I emailed her with the info she requested from me on 5/6. Since that time I have heard nothing from her, either by phone or email despite repeatedly calling her and leaving messages. I had some questions and also needed surgery instructions, location of surgery, and confirmation of dates, etc. I did not know what to expect. No response. Ms. Martinez has never communicated with me again. After calling and getting a call center that had no information for me, I went to the clinic and was told I was scheduled for surgery with a doctor I have never even seen! It's a good thing I went in there! I waited to speak to Dr. Jennings, but he was unavailable. After I went in today and voiced my frustrations, I suddenly received the paperwork for surgery from Ms. Martinez! Coincidence? I would advise that you avoid this Woolfson clinic and seek competent professionals for your eye care!

We are always gratified to hear of positive experiences.When I first got my natural eye lenses replaced with new artificial lenses at Woolfson Eye Institute by Dr. Eric Jennies, I got 20 20 vision in both eyes. It was awesome. I now can see from near to far distance without prescription glasses. But then, my right eye started to experience some problems. My eyes were not able to focus at a distance. Woolfson medical staff and doctors tested my vision and eyes, they noticed my right eye vision had decrease to 20 30 as well as to noticed some build up around the lense of my right eye. The doctors quickly identified the issue and was able to correct the problem. Now i have regained my 20 20 vision in my right eye and now have 20 20 in both eyes. Thank you Woolfson Eye institute . If you’re reading this and you have eye problems, I highly recommend getting them checked by Woolfson Eye Institute. After examination , they will provide you with recommendations on how they can improve your vision for life. No more prescription glasses and the cost is justifiable. No more paying for prescription glasses and exams is a blessing.

This was my first specialty referral for possible cataract surgery. The intake person introduced herself after greeting me by name as I entered the office. This established a level of professionalism for me that included value and respect. Thus, I became more comfortable and confident about the levels of engagement and expertise of Dr.Jennings. My experience with Dr. Jennings was outstanding. He was precise with status and future descriptions of my vision. I am looking forward to my next visit. I am telling my doctors and friends to make referrals to Dr. Jennings.
