Dr. Pierce served in the U.S. Air Force from 2001, rising to the rank of Colonel and providing ophthalmic care across multiple military assignments. Most recently, she served as a Master Clinician of Ophthalmology at Eglin Air Force Base hospital. Her leadership and clinical excellence have made her a respected figure in both military and civilian medical communities.
She is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists, and a staff member of the Society of Military Ophthalmologists.
