I received a free consultation for eye surgery and it was fantastic. I went to an area competitor prior to Magruder, and they just gave me a sales pitch-essentially info I could’ve googled at home. At Magruder they actually measured my eyes, and I got to speak with a surgeon the same day. Even though I didn’t make up my mind right away, everyone was super patient and happy to answer questions. I got recommended PRK due to having thinner corneas, which was performed by Dr. Hunter. He is excellent at his craft. I’m also a military pilot candidate, which requires a little extra documentation/follow up visits for my Flight Surgeon to approve, and they have been extremely accommodating with this process. Big thanks to Lauren my concierge for being so helpful throughout everything.

I am 49 years old and I had a cataract. The unique machine used to remove the cataract was painless and fast. I woke up the next morning and if someone told me " You had surgery yesterday on you eye." I would not believe them because I had no pain or discomfort. I had PRK surgery many years ago and this process was a cake walk. I will have them fix my other eye in the future.
