About Dr. Louise Doyle
Dr. Doyle is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist and fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology. She earned her medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her ophthalmology residency at Doctors Hospital in Columbus. Specializing in cataract and refractive surgery, Dr. Doyle serves as Medical Director of TLC Columbus and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at both The Ohio State University and Ohio University. She’s an active member of several national and state ophthalmology societies, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Outside of her medical career, Dr. Doyle enjoys skiing, hiking, cooking, and cherishing time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Compassionate, knowledgeable, quick and straight forward. Everything I enjoy in a doctor.
They don’t let you bill the insurance and ask for money up front. When the surgery should be covered by insurance it isn’t. Definitely recommend going with someone else and not falling into the trap. They are collecting the deductible without billing it to the insurance. No office normally works like this.
Response from the ownerOur standard policy is to collect a patient's remaining deductible prior to any procedure. After the procedure, we bill a patient's insurance on their behalf. Based on the insurance response we promptly refund any excess payment that may be due to the patient. A smooth and effective experience. I was told about the procedure as a whole and give the time to ask questions. Whole staff was well informed and gave me plenty of time to understand what was going to happen. The procedure went smoothly and I had a great outcome!
In 2008, Dr. Doyle performed ICL (implantable contact lens) surgery on me along with PRK to correct astigmatism. Prior to the surgery, I had -8.75 and -9.25 vision. After the surgery, my vision was 20/20 (whatever that equates to in the - OD/OS readings). I cannot express enough gratitude for the surgical vision correction and how it changed my life. Dr. Doyle is not only a top professional in opthamology, but also the most personable physician I have encountered. I have recommended her to many of my friends, colleagues, and family who have had the same wonderful experience. Additionally, the practice is equally as pleasant. Vince, the optician, has fitted me for prescription reading/computer glasses over the past few years and has been exceptional in ensuring the fitting and glasses are correct.
She was awesome. She listened to what I said and answered my questions. She did not seem in a hurry once. That is a blessing. She was also friendly and helpful in all ways. Her assistant Pia was also friendly and receptive.
Dr. Doyle is my sister’s eye doctor. She is so patient with her and explains everything she does to her so that she understands and knows what to expect. She is never in a rush with her. She look forward to seeing her.
