Dr. Woolf is an extremely competent doctor. He has always greeted me with a smile and first asks how I’m doing. He gives time to explain all of my concerns and at the end of the appointment, he asks if there’s anything else I need to talk about. He has faithfully watched over my eye condition for several years. He has pursued my itchy eye condition thoroughly and with empathy. I would highly recommend him.

The people here are very cheerful and experienced with basic optometry, cataracts, diseases of the eye, and eye surgery. They have modern equipment, although the office and exam rooms are very tired looking. The biggest problem is the volume of patients is high, and I had to wait for testing several times, with one wait lasting almost 30 minutes.
I am totally impressed with Hollingshead Barrett Eye Center. It is a powerhouse of eye doctors under one roof. My doctor, Dr. Scott Woolf, has been amazing from the very first visit. He specializes in Glaucoma and provides excellent care in treating my condition. He listens to my concerns, he explains my condition thoroughly, and he offers options for treatment. He performed iStent infinite surgery on my R-eye to treat my Glaucoma. This treatment is to help reduce the number of daily eye drops I used for over 10 years. I welcomed the idea. Dr. Woolf was very meticulous in the procedure and preparing me for surgery. His follow up was very encouraging as to the results of the treatment. I look forward to Dr. Woolf’s continued excellent care. The medical staff are friendly, helpful, and show the same concern and respect as Dr. Woolf does for his patients.
