Dr. Rebecca Armour is highly regarded for her expertise in managing cataracts, particularly in patients with complex underlying eye conditions such as retinal disease, glaucoma, and inflammatory eye disorders. She earned her undergraduate degree from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Following this, she completed her ophthalmology residency at the Casey Eye Institute at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU).

During her tenure as Clinical Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at OHSU, Dr. Armour served as Associate Residency Program Director and Director of Medical Student Education in Ophthalmology, playing a key role in training and mentoring future ophthalmologists. Her dedication to education earned her multiple Distinguished Service and Teaching Awards, and she continues to contribute to the field as an Examiner for the American Board of Ophthalmology. Known for her compassionate patient care and surgical precision, Dr. Armour combines decades of expertise with a commitment to delivering the highest standard of vision care to her patients in Portland and beyond.
