She graduated magna cum laude with distinction in research from Boston University, where she studied psychology and public health, before earning her medical degree from Columbia University. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Pennsylvania’s Scheie Eye Institute and went on to complete a fellowship in Cornea and External Disease at the University of Maryland, further refining her expertise in complex corneal treatments.
