Dr. Silas Wang brings over a decade of experience in treating both routine and complex eye conditions, including cataracts, dry eye, glaucoma, and blepharitis. A summa cum laude graduate in biomedical engineering from Harvard College, he earned his medical degree from Yale School of Medicine and completed his internship at Greenwich Hospital, followed by ophthalmology residency training at NYU and the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Institute. Prior to joining Massachusetts Eye and Ear, Dr. Wang practiced in New York City and served as a Clinical Instructor in Ophthalmology at NYU.

Now based in Boston, Dr. Wang is affiliated with Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He is highly regarded by patients for his thorough, compassionate approach and surgical precision. In addition to cataract and glaucoma management, he is experienced in treating shingles-related eye disease and ocular surface disorders.
