A summa cum laude graduate in biomedical engineering from Harvard College, he earned his medical degree from Yale School of Medicine and completed his internship at Greenwich Hospital, followed by ophthalmology residency training at NYU and the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Institute. Prior to joining Massachusetts Eye and Ear, Dr. Wang practiced in New York City and served as a Clinical Instructor in Ophthalmology at NYU.

Dr. Wang is a marvel. I have had cataracts removed from both the right and left eyes over the past two months. As I am high risk due to a severe bleeding disorder, I was referred to Dr. Wang by one of his colleagues for his technique. Astonishingly, I had no blood loss with either surgery nor was there any pain. Dr. Wang treated me with empathy, superb care and precise answers to my questions. Both surgeries are a success. I enthusiastically recommend Dr. Wang as an eye surgeon of the highest caliber.

Very successful cataract extraction with lens implant on both eyes. Dr. Wang is an excellent communicator and professional. He called me after both of my surgeries to make sure all was well. I am impressed with him and his team at MEE.

Dr. Wang was wonderful. He is so knowledgeable and his staff are friendly and inviting. I was treated like I was his only patient and even though I was scared to have the cataracts surgery, his staff put me at ease. Answering for my husband Anthony Mazzucco -- Dr. Wang listens to what I have to say, and asks me if I have any questions. If i do , he answers the questions and makes sure I understand his recommendations, treatments and medications. I never feel rushed. When we are finished he asks again to make sure he answered everything. Finally tells me when I should make a date for my next appointment. Also reminds me that if something comes up, call the office and make an appointment.
