Dr. Tiffany Kruger was raised in Freeport, Florida, and pursued her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology with a minor in Chemistry. She went on to receive her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, FL, and completed both her internal medicine internship and ophthalmology residency in Las Vegas, NV. During her training, she was recognized as Outstanding Intern of 2008 and later served as Chief Resident in 2012.
In 2013, Dr. Kruger completed a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan through the Kresge Eye Institute at Wayne State University. She now practices in Crestview, FL, where she is affiliated with North Okaloosa Medical Center and accepts a wide range of insurance plans, including Medicare, Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross, and United Healthcare. Outside of medicine, Dr. Kruger enjoys playing the piano for local churches, traveling, boating, fishing, and spending time with her husband and their Huskies.

Brought my 1 year old son here from Tallahassee. The first girl was very kid-friendly and patient but after that things weren’t the best. The worst part of our visit was with the doctor herself. I gave my son a pouch to keep him calm so that the exam could get completed and some of “apple sauce” splattered due to me son being upset because he wanted to explore and do what typical 1 year olds do. We were then told to lay down on the bench and restrain him (hold his head, legs and arms) so that she could get a good look. Appx 5 mins of this going on she states that the exam is completed and that my son needs glasses. Well ma’am are you not going to address the reason for referral/visit? I had go hurriedly bring up questions to ask her before she left the room. Interaction was very transactional. Then she says before leaving.. to me… for me to clean up the mess my son made with his baby wipes and pointed out where to clean the stuff up at. I asked her assistant who was with her do you all not have wipes/cleaning supplies? Not to mentioned she grabbed some of his baby wipes to help clean the splatter/spill up. Definitely was a a waste of time and was treated as a slave by the doctor herself. I highly doubt if she spoke to someone that looked like her in that manner. Hopefully we don’t have to go back there and can find another pediatric doctor that is an ophthalmologist.
I enjoyed my visit to Okaloosa Opthamology.Dr.Rowland was very professional and friendly too!I would recommend visiting them.
I wish I could give Dr. Kruger 10 stars! Our granddaughter had to have a second strabismus surgery. We wanted a second opinion, so we found Dr. Kruger on google. All I can say is AMAZING! From the consultation to the day of surgery. Even called afterwards to check on our granddaughter. Thank you Dr. Kruger!
I don't remember if I have left a review for this great office and it's Dr and associates or not, and if I have, it truly isn't enough... We are so blessed to have found Dr Tiffany Kruger, 8 years ago, when our son was only 4 and diagnosed with congenital cataracts. Almost legally blind, and needing a miracle, she presented us with just that. Here we are, at age 12, and having many open successful surgeries and Lazer surgeries, he is now pushing 20/20 vision...with/without corrective lenses. Thank so much Dr and Staff, for all of your hard work and dedication that you all have shown us. We love you guys!!!

They were kind, very thorough, and educated us on what everything meant. On another note, the office was also immaculately clean which is a huge plus. Would definitely recommend this office.

Response from the ownerWe are working on building a much larger office. We hope we can release more details very soon!Finding Dr Kruger has been the biggest blessing. From about 6 months old, our daughter had severe strabismus. Before exploring surgical options, Dr Kruger did everything she could before ultimately deciding surgery was best. Dr Kruger performed our daughter’s eye surgery in an hour and a half, and even called to check in on her a few hours after we got home from surgery. a couple months later, her eyes look BEAUTIFUL! We are thankful beyond words. De Kruger and staff are all awesome. They are super accommodating for even the littlest things. My daughter has sensory processing disorder, and they are able to still find ways to keep her comfortable during her appointment.
First of all, I would like to say that my 5 year old grandson has been going to Okaloosa Opthalmology for over a year. They are kind and caring and my grandson can finally see with his new glasses! Secondly, they are very generous in helping with the local community. I am on the board at the Shelter House and they were generous sponsors at our latest event Palate and Palette event supporting our mission. I can't thank them enough!
