Unprofessional, dismissive, and zero aftercare. Left with permanent damage. I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Dr. Aaker. After dealing with a persistent eye issue, I was rushed into an invasive surgery with him. He spent almost no time with me before or after the procedure, treating me like an assembly-line inconvenience rather than a patient. Worse yet, he completely failed to provide basic aftercare instructions or ensure I had a follow-up appointment scheduled to check on my healing. When the surgery failed and the exact same issue returned a year later, his attitude was entirely unprofessional and dismissive. Instead of investigating why his procedure didn't work, he seemed openly annoyed that I had to return for the same problem, showing a complete lack of accountability and treating my recurring symptoms as if they were my fault. He then proceeded to perform the exact same surgery a second time, which ultimately left my eye even more damaged. Because of his rushed care and complete lack of proper post-operative tracking, I am now left with permanent scar tissue damage and chronic inflammation in my eyelid that I am having to see a different specialist to correct. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for a surgeon who provides standard medical aftercare, stands by their work, and treats patients with basic respect.
