Excellent consultation and surgical eye care. Dr Johnson and his staff are caring, open and thoughtful during the entire process of cataract lens replacement. Would recommend him for overall eye care. Overall, it has been a pleasure and satisfying experience during my surgical procedure and post operative care.

The staff was very nice and professional. They were very good at helping me relax and talked me through each step. For my follow up visits, the staff remembers me by name and is always greeting me with a smile. Dr. Johnson was very informative, professional and friendly. I’m very glad I trusted them with my surgery.

My name is Randy Glen Ellis, I just had cataract surgery done at Johnson laser eye care. I wanted to take a moment to just say how wonderful my experience was. I was very nervous and apprehensive about someone operating on my eye. Johnson laser eye has second generation robotic laser surgery. Everything went smooth is silk no complications at all. I did my follow up appointment this morning and again everything checked out just as it should. The staff was wonderful, very relaxing. Dr. Johnson in my opinion is one of a kind. Thank you so much Johnson laser eye. I would recommend them to anyone.

Great service, great experience, great results! I can SEE! The amount of care and openness I received was spectacular. I’m amazed at my results. So not only will you feel comforted throughout your time with them, but you’ll also get what you’re looking for. …pun unintended but I’ll keep it. Thanks Johnson Laser Eye, all of you there are awesome! REVIEW UPDATE!!! I recently had my last appointment after my surgery months ago, and wanted to let people know how everything turned out, since - I don’t know about everyone else - but surgery on my EYES honestly scared me at first. So maybe this review could put you at ease if you’re like me haha! But once again, everyone at Johnson Laser Eye was awesome and very caring, answering all my questions and listening to me throughout the whole process and my check ups thereafter. So they still get my five stars on that alone. Additionally, my vision is incredible. “Superhuman” is how I usually put it, because I’m now reading at 20/15 from my left eye, and even some from the 20/10 line in my right. My vision is spectacular, and I no longer have to rely on glasses to see, and I even see better than I expected to. So thank you at Johnson Laser Eye for this very unexpected but very amazing new view on life (yeah, I’m back with the puns…) I know that not everyone will have the same experience as me, as everyone’s eyes and situations are different. But at the very least know that you are in really good hands with these people, and they’re just as excited as you are to go on this experience with you. I hope this helps anyone with fears or doubts, and I thank again everyone at JLE for their services and kindness. 💕

Response from the ownerThank you so much, Cait, for such a fun and thoughtful review! We absolutely loved your “I can SEE!” pun and are even more excited that you are so happy with your results. Creating an experience where patients feel cared for, informed, and comfortable every step of the way is so important to our team, so hearing that reflected in your experience means the world to us. We are beyond grateful you trusted Dr. Johnson and our staff with your vision care, and we think your results are pretty spectacular too!

Wish we could give them 10 stars! The entire staff is so caring and professional! My husband had his cataract surgery here and the level of care was exceptional. His surgery restored his sight enough that he no longer needs glasses. He is so happy with the results. But, the real reason for this post is to recognize the staff. Dr Johnson has put together an amazing group of people who are warm and personable and most of all attentive to their patients needs. Highly recommend Johnson Laser Eye!

The front desk staff and everyone at the clinic were very kind, friendly, and helpful. I really appreciate how welcoming and caring they were throughout the process. Because I have thin corneas, I was advised to have PRK instead of LASIK. Before my surgery, I was told that PRK takes longer to recover than LASIK, but I thought that meant about one or two weeks. It wasn’t until after my surgery that I was informed it could take 3–6 months to achieve my best vision. I wish this had been explained more clearly before I made my decision. I paid over $5,000 for both eyes, not including the additional cost of prescription eye drops and medications after surgery. Considering how expensive the procedure is, I was surprised that the warranty is only one year, especially since PRK itself can take 3–6 months to fully heal. Three members of my family had LASIK at another clinic. They could see clearly almost immediately, returned to work much sooner, and received a five-year warranty. It has now been about three weeks since my PRK surgery, and my vision is still blurry. It feels like being nearsighted without wearing glasses, which has made it difficult for me to work. I understand that PRK requires patience, but I wish the recovery timeline and warranty had been explained more clearly before surgery so I could make a fully informed decision. I truly appreciate the kindness of the staff, but I hope future patients receive more detailed counseling about PRK recovery and what to realistically expect before choosing this procedure.

Response from the ownerThank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your recovery has been frustrating. PRK healing can vary considerably from patient to patient. While many patients experience significant improvement within the first few weeks, it is also normal for vision to continue improving over several months before reaching its final result. Because of this variability, we make every effort during the consultation process to discuss the differences between LASIK and PRK, including the longer visual recovery associated with PRK. We understand that recovery can feel especially challenging when vision is still fluctuating during the early healing period, particularly for patients eager to return to work and normal activities. Your comments are valuable and remind us of the importance of continuing to set clear expectations and provide ongoing support throughout the healing process. Because patient privacy is important, we cannot discuss specifics of your care in a public forum, but we encourage you to contact our office directly so we can answer any questions and continue to monitor your progress.
