Dr. Prinshaw is a very personable person and listens to you. He is always open to talking and answering all your questions. He has done cataract surgery on myself and my wife. I would highly recommend him. His staff is also wonderful, kind and caring.
Response from the ownerThank you for your 5-star rating!I had cataract surgery two days ago with Dr. Prenshaw. The surgery was a huge success. Everything that Dr. Prenshaw said would happen did happen. Within 48 hours my eyesight was 90% better than it was when I went into surgery. I could see clearly, everything was brighter and the recovery was quite speedy. Prenshaw is not what I would call a warm and fuzzy kind of doctor but he absolutely is a skilled surgeon who knows his business. I would recommend him to everyone considering eye (cataract) surgery.
I live in North Georgia but choose to come to Chattanooga to Woolfson Eye Clinic for there professionalism. Not only did Dr. Penshaw deliver great results but the staff provided comfort and excellent care. Such a blessing!
Did a super good job explaining the whole procedure. I've had one eye surgery and the results are amazing, I've been in glasses for over 50 years and now I have 20-15 vision.
Everyone in the office and the clinic when they did my first cataract surgery are just awesome and so I will be having my second one the end of the month . I would advise everyone to go and let Dr John Prenshaw check there eyes out. And I had my second on everyone he has working with him are just awesome so if any of you need your cataract’s take out I would advise you all to go to him at Woolfson Rye Institute
No long wait time. All of the staff was very nice. Doctor did not rush in and rush out as many of them often do, I really appreciated that. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Dr Prenshaw, is wonderful. He got rid of my cataracts. I went with premium lenses for my surgery. Instantly could see clear and bright. I highly recommend him. Everyone was very nice and helpful to work with.
