The staff were very efficient and welcoming. Dr. Prenshaw was very thorough in explaining the procedure and gave me and my husband time to ask questions. He was also very kind.
I was nervous, but one of the best, Dr. Adams, sent me to Woolfson Eye Institute to see Dr. Prenshaw, and I am grateful. Dr. Prenshaw, put my mind at ease. He and his staff, especially the gentleman who conducted my pre testing, are simply amazing. All questions were answered completely and respectfully. I look forward to my next visit. No longer nervous, but at ease and full of confidence that I am in the right place, with the right doctor, for this phase of my eye care. Thank you all. I wish I had started here in the first place. Very professional, got me in within weeks instead of months. The doctor took his time explaining everything. Unlike all the other places, he was able to do the consult and surgery in both eyes the same day! Needless to say, I was very happy. I didn't have to drive back-and-forth to Chattanooga.
Dr. Prenshaw performed two cataract surgeries in recent months. I have been exceptionally pleased with the care that I have received prior and post surgery. His staff is kind and everyone takes their time to make you feel comfortable. Dr. Prenshaw is very patient and incredibly intelligent-- and also a gifted surgeon. Cannot say enough good about him or his practice. Nicole Beaty is also phenomenal. I also really liked the surgical facility that this office uses. Top notch and you don't feel like just a number.

I have Salzmann’s Nodular Degeneration (nodules that grow on the cornea) Dr Prenshaw did surgery to remove them this week. The entire staff is professional & friendly. Keep in mind, this surgery can cause pain because the doctor has to scrape the nodules from the cornea. I have had virtually no pain. I can see better from the eye on which he operated. I am extremely pleased with Dr Prenshaw & his very able staff & look forward to having my other eye done next week. I highly recommend Dr Prenshaw & the Woolfson Eye Institute.
