I’ve been going to Dr. Frantz since I moved to Florida 9 years ago. He did my cataracts and my sight improved so much I couldn’t believe it. I highly recommend his practice. He has great doctors who give me my annual check ups.
--- **Healthgrades Review - Dr. Jonathan Frantz - Right Eye - 2018** I am Dr. Eliot Sherr. I had cataract surgery on my right eye with Dr. Jonathan Frantz in 2018. After surgery I had a lot of pain in that eye. For the pain, Dr. Frantz placed a corneal bandage lens (corneal band-aid). My vision in the right eye after surgery was not what I had been told to expect, and I remained concerned about the outcome and about the lens that had been placed. I requested my records, including my pre-op measurements, surgical plan, and lens implant information. Because my concerns continued, I sought further care. My right eye was subsequently repaired by Dr. Ferrell Tyson, and Dr. Tyson then referred me to Dr. William Trattler for continued follow-up. After Dr. Tyson's repair, my right eye is now 20-20. I am very grateful to Dr. Tyson and Dr. Trattler for their care in getting me to this result. I share my personal experience from 2018 to encourage other patients to keep copies of their biometry, lens plan, and implant card, and to seek prompt re-evaluation if they have significant pain or their vision is not as expected after surgery. ---

Dr Jonathan Frantz is a professional treasure, in my humble opinion. He is very highly skilled, well organized, caring and upbeat! I had cataract surgery, both eyes, which was complicated due to previous scarring damage from an eye condition. Both surgeries went smoothly, and most importantly, the results have been wonderful, even on my most affected eye! The staff was so efficient, knowledgeable and happy, acting as a true well-oiled machine... which is desirable in any business but difficult to achieve, helping Dr Frantz deliver a superior experience and result for me, the patient! Facilities are calming, beautiful and well planned. In sum, for a medical procedure, it was the Best! Kudos to Dr Frantz, the outstanding medical staff and receptionists!
