Absolutely wonderful! I had LASIK in one eye about 25 years ago in DFW, and as I aged my vision continued to change. After exploring options, lens replacement was the answer for me. I could not be happier to know that I will never have astigmatism or cataracts the rest of my life. From the initial appt, through surgery, and post opt everything has been the utmost professional. I never felt uneasy. Dr Luke even sent me a personal text if I needed anything over the weekend. Now, my husband is jealous and wants his done next. Thank you Dr Luke! I also need to shout out to Karla & Kayla on the clinic team, Sarah, Amanda & Heather on the surgery team. Each one of these ladies made me feel like they were taking care of their mom. Again, thank you Dr Luke and your entire team.

I don't need glases now. Need I say more? (I guess I'm going to) I would recommend to anyone considering it. If you're worried about the procedure, don't be. Both my brother and I had it done (him 20 years ago) and neither of us could feel anything. All you have to do is sit still. They offer valium but I turned it down, and it wasn't even necessary, but take it if you want. My eyes did itch for one day afterward, but that didn't last long. The only catch is the price. It is expensive. For me, it was worth every penny, but it is something to consider. You likely save that money in the long run by not buying glasses, but even if that weren't the case, it's still worth not having to wear them anymore. Full disclosure, I paid about 5,000. That covered both eyes, but they had a deal going the month I did it, which saved over a 1,000. Maybe call and check when they're having more deals? If I recall, getting checked for eligibility is completely free, even if you decide not to get it done. Do note that insurance will NOT cover this (beyond maybe a negligible discount). But because it's purely elective, the service is much better than most medical facilities. Essentially, they have to sell you on their "product" and so they're very friendly and personable. Yes, it is at least partially done out of obligation, but the overall experience was a nice contrast to most medical facilities, and it did not feel like high pressure car salesman tactics. It was a good experience with the staff all around.
