Personal but good
Punctal plug was put in within 5 min for over $300. If the doctor was not able to measure or gauge the size, would be much better to remove the one that dropped in and put in a larger one at the time of the same appointment, instead of trying to save time and potentially charging the patient a second time.
I am very happy with the results of my cataract Surgery. Dr. Farbowitz and His staff were very Conscientious and professional. I was not at all apprehensive going into the surgery I had confidence that my eyes were in good hands.
Always a pleasure going to this office. Very courteous, professional, without long waiting times. My family has been coming here for many years. Highly recommend Dr Farbowitz!
Dr. Farbowitz is very nice and considerate. I am always wary of any medical proffessional, but my experience with him and the group was so comforting and hassle free. Dr. Farbowitz is an excellent doctor. The staff are courteous and kind.
I do not recommend this doctor. He recommended very aggressive and expensive treatment for my dry eye and did not offer other less expensive first line treatments. When I asked about cost he said he didn't discuss it and referred me to a lovely person who is a salesperson. He was rushed and brusque and I felt dismissed and insulted.
Response from the ownerHi djm, Short Hills Ophthalmology is a Dry Eye Center of Excellence! People suffering with Dry Eye Syndrome can be anywhere on the spectrum of severity, and treatments are recommended based upon the medical examination. Unfortunately, dry eye treatments are relatively new (but proven) technology and insurance companies do not cover them yet. Our surgical coordinator educates each patient on the cost and benefits just as they would a covered treatment or surgery. It is important that patients have all of the information they need to make their decision.
