Professional, Painless & Life Changing I want to thank Dr Tal Raviv and his team! He restored my sight! I had laser cataract surgery with IOL Puresee lenses and the results are amazing. The actual procedure and recovery was painless. From the moment I entered the office the first day The staff was amazing professional and knowledgeable. Dr Raviv and his staff are wonderful! He took the time to explain the procedure (lens replacement), what to expect afterwards and made sure I understood. All the staff I interacted with from the front desk receptionist to the anesthesiologist were all pleasant and caring. My appts were on time and I never felt rushed. I am over the moon that I no longer need glasses. The procedure is expensive but worth every penny.
The whole experience was exceptional from start to finish. Staff was extremely professional and answered all my questions. Dr. Raviv was patient and did not force me into anything I didn’t need. The surgery was painless and over in 15 mins. Had 20/20 in the surgical eye the next day. Would highly recommend Dr. Raviv and his team.

Dr Raviv is superb. After 44 years suffering with contact lenses and new cataracts I traveled from overseas to see him. And after evaluating other top cararact surgeons in NY and in other US. cities I decided to go with him. He gives you full confidence and also explains neatly the whole process. ( we even rooted for the same team in the World Cup). His whole team starting with his surgical coordinator Karem Sandigo also superb . Also at the Retina Surgery Center excellent attention. Also Dr Sherman post surgery evaluations were superb. As well as Dr Lee. My myopia was - 7 and -5. I went for Pure See Lens after consulting with Dr Raviv and we left micro monovision -.25 and -.5. I see 20/20 in my right eye and tomorrow will do the left eye post op with Dr Sherman. I am writing this review without reading glasses . ( eventhough I dont mind using them ) . A little bit of halo in street signs and car lights which they tell me will improve in a couple of weeks. So after one month with extensive research on US cataract surgeons I am completely satisfied with Dr Tal Raviv surgical expertise and with the results on my surgery . Definetely the best ! If you are going to trust your eyes to someone , its him ! Tbn Fully recommend Dr Raviv.

This was such an easy wonderful experience! From my first visit to the office to the first surgery - every person that works with Dr. Raviv was kind and helpful and always had a smile on. This is not a hospital situation - you are guided along the way and constantly being checked on and explained what is going on and what is next. It was a wonderful experience and I had to do it all over again a week later! I’m seeing 20/20 which is better than I have seen in my life. I can’t recommend Dr. Raviv and his office any more highly!!
My two cataract surgeries with Dr. Tal Raviv of the Eye Center of New York were a tremendous success. He was recommended to me by my ophthalmologist, who made the key observation that Dr. Raviv does every surgery himself, as opposed to delegating some procedures to junior colleagues, as is the case elsewhere. I am in my late 70s and have several health issues that could potentially have complicated the surgical outcome, but Dr. Raviv has experience in dealing with all of them, and he and his highly competent staff guided me through the preparation with exemplary attention to detail. The procedures on both eyes only required local anesthesia and involved practically no discomfort. We decided on monofocal toric lenses, which include correction for astigmatism, and this turned out to be an excellent choice. Although my cataracts had become so advanced that I could barely venture outdoors without an escort, my vision in both eyes is now 20/20, and I only need to use inexpensive over-the-counter reading glasses occasionally to facilitate the reading of very small print, e.g. on my cell phone. I should note that treatment at the Eye Center of New York includes several follow-up visits over the course of a month or so with Dr. Raviv and his associates to ensure that post-surgical recovery is proceeding properly. All in all, this was one of the best medical experiences I have ever had.
