Dr. Pamel is a board-certified ophthalmologist with fellowship training in cornea, external diseases, and refractive surgery and more than 20 years of experience, having performed over 20,000 LASIK, PRK, corneal transplant, cataract, and lens-implant procedures. He serves as a clinical assistant professor of ophthalmology at New York University School of Medicine and as medical director of the Manhattan Surgery Center.

I had an awesome visit with Dr. Matthews. I know I am just one of many patients. But whenever I visit, I feel like I’m her only patient; her professionalism and care assure me that I’m always getting the best possible care.
The office team is cheerful and very helpful. I enjoyed my visit and will return.
Staff was polite and professional. They were helpful when it came to acquiring my medical records and understanding of my health concerns. The only bad side of my visit was the 2 hours I spent in the office which may be due to be being a new patient.
