I had cataract surgery with Dr. Brissette and it was a very positive experience from start to finish. Dr. Brissette is not only an excellent surgeon but also has a calming presence and talks you through the whole procedure while she is doing it. Along with her wonderful staff, I couldn’t have had a better experience. Would recommend her whole heartedly, without any reservation. I now can see without reading glasses which was a goal of the procedure. Thank you so much Dr. Brissette and staff. As my daughter would say “you all are awesome!”

I can’t recommend Dr. Kelly highly enough. From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless. Scheduling my consultation was incredibly easy, the appointments were efficient without ever feeling rushed, and the procedure itself was so quick that I couldn’t believe I’d waited so long to do it. It’s rare to find a doctor who combines this level of expertise with such genuine compassion. Dr Kelly took the time to explain every step of the process, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and made sure I felt completely comfortable and confident throughout the entire experience. The results have been incredible. I woke up the very next morning and could see perfectly!!! With so many doctors and options in New York City, it can be overwhelming to know who to trust. I am so grateful I found Dr. Kelly. If you’re considering LASIK but feeling nervous or unsure, I can’t recommend him enough!!!! This was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else guiding me through it.

I had the WaveLight Plus operation a little over 2 months ago and had a great experience. Kelly Vision was recommended to me by a friend who also had two other friends who had good experiences. The whole team - from the front desk, to the optometrists, to Dr. Kelly - was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, happy to help, and communicative. I had three other consultations with other offices and felt the most valued here. Dr. Kelly and the staff took a lot of time to explain the potential options, risks/benefits of each, and finances. They were very open and transparent about risks and recommendations and did not upsell me - in fact, Dr. Kelly actually down-sold me from the more expensive ICLs (permanent contact lenses) to Wavelight Plus, as he explained that Wavelight Plus was sufficient and the additional cost for ICLs was likely not worth it for my specific situation. The operation went very well. I went from -6.00 contacts in both eyes to 20/10 vision. Recovery was very easy and I had no side effects at all. As expected, my vision was blurry the day after, but definitely improved after 24 hours and I was completely able to work staring at screens. For context, I had my operation at 5pm so I took the next day off as a precaution, but was completely fine to work 24 hours after. Recovery was easy and the staff was very communicative, helpful, and clear with recovery instructions. I had my day-after post-op and 1 month post-op already and will have my final post-op in a few weeks. Overall, probably one of the best decisions I've made in my life. It feels like a super power to be able to see well without contacts / glasses, and well worth the money. It is amazing to wake up in the middle of the night and see perfectly, to be able to fall asleep anywhere at any time without worrying about contact lenses drying out, and even to be able to swim in the ocean and be able to open my eyes without contacts nor goggles.

I cannot recommend Dr. James Kelly and his entire team highly enough. I recently completed cataract surgery with Odyssey lenses on both eyes, and the results have truly exceeded my expectations. Like many people, I was extremely nervous before surgery. From my very first consultation through every post-operative visit, Dr. Kelly inspired complete confidence. He is exceptionally skilled, patient, and reassuring, taking the time to answer every question and making me feel comfortable every step of the way. What also sets this practice apart is the people. Every single person I encountered was warm, gracious, friendly, positive, and genuinely caring. They transformed what could have been a stressful experience into one that felt calm and supportive. As a 50th birthday gift to myself, I chose this surgery over a vacation or a celebration, and it was the best gift I could have given myself. The freedom of waking up and seeing clearly without relying on glasses is nothing short of life-changing. I am profoundly grateful to Dr. Kelly and his wonderful team for giving me that gift.

I had Toric EVO ICL surgery at Kelly Vision, and I’m really happy with the whole experience. The pre-op exams and consultation were great. Everyone was patient, and every question I had was answered thoroughly, which made me feel a lot more comfortable before the surgery. I was actually pretty nervous going into it, but once the procedure started, I realized it wasn’t nearly as scary as I thought it would be. The whole procedure felt so smooth and seamless. You can really tell how experienced and skilled the team is. The best part was waking up after a nap at home and realizing I could already see so clearly. That moment honestly felt amazing. Huge thanks to Dr. Kelly and the entire team for making the whole process so easy and reassuring.
